Salon Boeing 767 300 Pegasus Fly. Business class Pegas fly

Nordwind Airlines (or “North Wind”) owns 8 Boeing 767-300 aircraft. However, only three aircraft can be found on the company's flights. The remaining 5 aircraft are leased to a partner company (Pegas Fly).

The following aircraft fly for Nord Wind: VQ-BPT, VQ-BMQ and VP-BDI. The aircraft are quite old and have worked for a number of airlines in America and Europe:

  • The VQ-BPT aircraft made its first flight in July 1995. I managed to fly for the following airlines: KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Zoom Airlines, ILFC and Flyglobespan.
  • The VQ-BMQ aircraft made its first flight in March 1996. Managed to fly for the following airlines: KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and North American Airlines.
  • The VQ-BPT aircraft made its first flight in April 2000. Managed to fly for the following airlines: Air 2000, GECAS, Aeroflot - Russian Airlines.

On the company's website you can see two options for cabin layout: 290 seats and 300 seats. Both layout options are two-class (business and economy classes). The 290-seat version has 39 rows, and the 300-seat version has 43 rows. The seating diagram can be viewed at this link.

In our review, we will analyze the 290-seat scheme in detail.
Row 1 and 2.

The only two rows are business class. There are 12 such seats in total. For obvious reasons, these are the best seats on the ship. The distance between the seats is 127 cm.

Row 3. Boeing's first row of economy class. These are good places to book. The distance to the partition is slightly greater than the distance between standard rows. Plus, no one will lean back on you. The toilets are located at the opposite end of the cabin, so there is minimal movement and fuss. The only thing that can spoil the impression of the flight is the presence of a partition in front of the eyes.

The distance between the rows of seats in economy class is 74 cm. It turns out a little cramped.

Row 15. It is located in a very accessible place, as there are toilets nearby. Not the best places to fly. Row 16. Also located in a high traffic area, but the plus is that the chairs are paired.
Row 17. Bad places. The chairs rest against the wall from the toilet, which means the backrest is limited in reclining. There is also a constant crowd of people near the chair, waiting in line to use the toilet. The fact that the WC door is constantly opening will definitely cause odors from the toilet.
Row 18. Quite contradictory places. On the one hand, there is no row in front (due to the emergency exit), so there is a lot of legroom. On the other hand, there are toilets in front, and this is not good.
Row 19. The distance to the front row is slightly larger than standard, which means there is room to stretch your legs. The only thing is that the row is quite noisy due to the proximity of the toilets.
Row 38. Very similar to row 16. Located close to toilets. There is always a lot of traffic here, so the flight will not be calm.
Row 39. Some of the worst seats in the cabin. They have all the disadvantages of row 17. In addition to this, it is always colder in the back of the plane, and if the air conditioning is not working well, it is also stuffy. Not recommended for booking by people in poor health.

The Boeing 767-300er was designed and built specifically to cover long and medium distances. The airliner began to be developed back in the 80s, the 300 model was born thanks to its predecessor 767-200, and the Boeing 767-300 served well in the creation of the next generation.

The aircraft can accommodate up to 278 passengers in economy class and 12 passengers in business class. This aircraft is also a wide-body aircraft. The seats on the plane are arranged according to the 2+3+2 scheme, with the exception of business class; in the superior class there are different rules and standards.

The width of the aisle in economy class is 57 cm, while in business class the width between seats is 105 centimeters. The 767 family has long been recognized in the market not only for its large capacity and range, but they are also considered the most bladeless and highest quality aircraft around the world. Thanks to research from many airlines, we know for sure that passengers are very happy with these airliners, since the engineers tried to please almost everyone.

Most passengers can sit either window or aisle. There is only one line left, deprived of all the benefits, it is located in the very center of the liner, and there is no passage or porthole near it. We should talk about the cabin of the plane itself, in particular we will look at the plane of the Pegasus Fly airline, the airliner is called Boeing 767 Icarus (or Boeing 767-300er)

There are three different comfort classes in the cabin:

  • Business class is located in the nose of the plane.
  • In the central part of the aircraft there is a premium economy class.
  • And in the tail section of the airliner there is a tourist economy class.

There are a total of six lines of seats on the plane from A to G, all of which are located in 42 rows. Below we will introduce you to each class in order.

As a rule, this class is considered the most expensive and for many passengers, only first class is more expensive than it. But this plane only has business class. Despite the fact that all seats in this class are considered comfortable, as a rule there is no limit to perfection, there will always be a place that will be even better, better seats. And these places are lines G and F located in the first row.

Although they already have many of the benefits of business class, they have even more legroom and are located away from the technical areas, meaning you won't be bothered by anyone walking around throughout the flight.

It is also worth remembering that, no matter what seat you choose in economy class, it will in no way compare to a seat in business class. These seats were initially made comfortable for a long flight. And in the economy class they preferred roominess over comfort.

Premium Economy Class

This class can be rephrased as places of increased comfort. Unlike business class, they are not equipped with super comfortable seats, there is no such service in the cabin, and of course they have less free space than business class. As a rule, the best seats are always the first rows; in economy class, row 10 is where the class begins.

It faces the aisle from business class, giving it more legroom than standard seats in this class. Also, row 10 is located far from all technical rooms, therefore, the flow of people will be significantly less than in the rows next to the toilet stalls and kitchens.

Tourist economy class

This class has a number of unusual features compared to the other two classes. This part of the plane has the highest density of seats and the easiest service, despite all this, ticket prices are significantly lower than in other classes. But it is worth remembering that you are guaranteed an uncomfortable flight.

In this class it is quite problematic to highlight the best seats, but we will tell you about the seats that you definitely don’t need to buy. One of these places is the last row, since behind it there are many technical rooms, and this is definitely not a kitchen that will smell delicious. In the tail there are always several toilet stalls, from which there is a lot of noise (flushing sounds and magnetic lock sounds), and there is also a luggage compartment there.

In addition to the noise, crowds of people will constantly gather there, waiting for their turn to use the toilet; someone may lean on the back of your chair, and someone may touch your seat completely by accident.

The only advantage of this class is the short distance to the emergency door. But no one would want the passengers of the liner to need this advantage.

Wishes for travelers

  • If you get bored during a flight, then feel free to take a seat by the window, the main thing is that the view from it is not limited by the wing. If you choose the right spot and the weather is great, you have the chance to see some breathtaking scenery.
  • If you expect that you will often get up from your chair, then you can take an aisle seat, you will not have to bother your neighbor every time you need to get out. But it is worth remembering that your neighbor will also disturb you when he needs to leave the chair.
  • Never take seats near those premises; there is always a large flow of people near such places. Because of this, it will be impossible to relax and enjoy the flight.

The Boeing 767-300 airliner is an extended version of the popular Boeing 767-200 model. This aircraft is designed for medium and long-haul flights. Aircraft of the 767 model series are considered one of the most commercially profitable when used for charter flights, this is due to the fairly low cost of maintenance. This material will examine in detail the Boeing 767-300 Royal Flight airliner, the interior layout of this aircraft and the best seats in it.

The Royal Flight airline fleet is equipped with three Boeing 767-300 aircraft, two of which were purchased by Royal Flight Airlines from Rossiya Airlines in 2016. The average age of Boeing 767-300 aircraft owned by Royal Flight is 19 years.

There is no need to be afraid of the aircraft's great age. One pilot with extensive flying experience, an aviation instructor and, part-time, an aircraft mechanic told me before flying on a thirty-year-old Yak-18: “The plane is like a Mercedes, it’s not the age that matters, but the condition.”

Passenger seats on board the Boeng 767-300 of Royal Flight Airlines are located in three rows. In business class, seats are arranged according to the pattern 2 - 2 - 2 that is, two chairs in each row. total number of seats in business class: 12. In economy class according to the scheme 2 - 4 - 2— two seats in the outer rows and four seats in the center row. Rows: 12, 14, 15, 16, 31, 46, 47 stand out from the general harmony - there are 3 chairs in a row.

Boeing 767 300 Royal Flight best seats

The economy class cabin of the Royal Flight Boeing 767-300 airliner is divided into three cabins.

The best and worst places in the first salon

The first cabin is located in the bow of the aircraft, immediately in business class. This part of economy class is the most compact, with only 59 seats. The location at the front of the plane and the small number of seats is already a huge plus, since it is much quieter here compared to the rest of the cabin. In addition, after landing, passengers in the front part of the aircraft will be able to get to the ground faster.

Row 5, seats A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H— the best seats in the first salon. You'll probably have to pay extra for them.

Row 11, seats A, B, G, H And row 12, C, D, F- on the contrary, the worst choice in this part of the aircraft. The seat backs in these places are blocked by a partition and do not recline.
The backrests recline to a slight angle.

Good and bad places in the second salon

The second salon is the largest in number - 128 seats for passengers. Let's take a closer look at the most successful and unsuccessful places to travel.

Rows: 15 and 16 They have only three chairs, which are located between two toilets. When making a flight sitting on them, you will feel a certain discomfort due to fellow travelers crowding in line for the toilet. At the same time, not only passengers of the second cabin, but also travelers from the first cabin will run to these toilets; they do not have their own toilet, and they are unlikely to be allowed into the business class toilet.

Row 14- one of the best - there is increased legroom. Also, this row is slightly forward from the restrooms, which, theoretically, will protect you from contemplating the toilet lines. However, there are restrictions for this series. To ensure safety, it is prohibited to accommodate passengers with children, people with disabilities, pregnant and elderly passengers in these seats. Well, if you are a fragile girl, then most likely you will also have to forget about these places.

Row 17, seats A, B, G, H- an excellent choice for flying on a Boeing 767-300 Royal Flight. Here, just like passengers in row 14, there is increased legroom.

The worst places in the second salon are whole row 31, the same blocked seat backs will not allow you to fully relax during the flight.

Despite the fact that the central part of the cabin accommodates the largest number of passengers, it also has an undoubted advantage. Almost the entire second cabin accounts for the area where the wings join. For design reasons, the central part of the airliner is most stable during turbulence. In other words: it shakes the least here.

The best and worst places in the third salon

The third cabin, located at the rear of the aircraft, has 110 seats for economy class passengers.

In the tail section of a passenger airliner, regardless of the manufacturer and model, the shaking when passing air pockets is always more noticeable. If you are afraid of flying and have problems with the vestibular system, take this point into account and try to sit closer to the center.

The best seats in the tail section of a Boeing 767-300 can be considered row 33, seats C, D, E, F- There's a lot of legroom here. The same places A, B, G, H in the same 33rd row could have been ideal if not for flight safety restrictions. These seats are located near emergency exits and passengers sitting on them will have to put everything unnecessary into the hand luggage compartment. In addition, the folding tables for eating airline food are extremely flimsy, you can accidentally spill hot coffee on yourself.

Row 45, seats A, B, G, H— problems with seats that do not recline are aggravated by close proximity to the toilet. These are probably the worst places on board.

Closing rows 46 and 47 framed on both sides by toilets, and on the 47th, moreover, the backrests do not recline.

Business class Boeing 767 300 Royal Flight best seats

In conclusion, a few words about business class. Royal Flight's Boeing 767-300 aircraft have twelve (12) seats in the business class cabin. The chairs recline, you can take a fairly comfortable reclining position and even stretch your legs; special footrests are provided for this. Each passenger is given travel kits: light blankets, slippers, earplugs, hygiene products. In business class, passengers receive personalized service and a more extensive menu of food and drinks, which are served throughout the flight.

Agree, the best seats on any plane are those in business class, but that’s a completely different money.

How to choose the best seats on AZUR air planes? This is not difficult to do. The main thing is to know the seat layout, features and recommendations of passengers who have already used the carrier’s services.

There are three types of aircraft in the airline's fleet:

  • Boeing 737-800. The airline has one aircraft of this model at its disposal. The length of the airliner is 40 meters, the cruising speed is 828 km/h, and the flight range is 5.66 thousand km. Capacity - 189 passengers.
  • Boeing 767-300. AZUR air has the most of these aircraft at its disposal - 8. Features include greater length, capacity (up to 336 people) and flight range (about 11,000 km). Cruising speed is at 825 km/h.
  • Boeing 757-200. The number of such airliners at the company's disposal is 7. The capacity is 238 people. The maximum flight range is 7.27 km.

Choosing the best seats on AZUR air planes, it is important to focus on several basic criteria:

  • Availability of additional legroom.
  • Proximity of technical premises.
  • Location (near a window, aisle, emergency exit).
  • Possibility of reclining the backrest.

Detailed aircraft diagrams are discussed below.

The best seats on Boeing 767-300 AZUR air aircraft

When flying on a Boeing 767-300, you should choose the best seats consciously, taking into account the seat layout and layout of the aircraft. Technical rooms are located in three places - at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the side. Consequently, the seats in rows 46 and 45, 15 and 16 can hardly be called comfortable, because there will be constant movement near them and unpleasant odors may appear.

The best seats on this AZUR air plane- those that provide more legroom, namely in the rows:

  • 14 (C, D, F).
  • 16 (A, B, including G, H).
  • 33 (A, B, and also G, H).
  • 32 (C, D, E, F).

By the way, the seats in the first row also have increased legroom and many claim that these are the best seats in the Boeing 767-300 AZUR air. The situation is spoiled by the proximity of this row to the toilet, so it is unlikely that you will be able to count on a calm and quiet trip.

The best seats in the Boeing 737-800

Despite the fact that the Boeing 737-800 is at the carrier’s disposal in limited quantities (there is only one aircraft), it is still advisable to know the layout of the airliner and the seating arrangement. According to the manufacturer itself, the best seats on the Boeing 737-800 are in the following rows:

  • 1 (A,B,C).
  • 2 (D, E, F).
  • 16 (A, B, C, and also D, E, F).
  • 15 (A, B, C and including - D, E, F).

The peculiarity of the mentioned chairs is the increased legroom. But here it’s worth considering that rows 1 and 2 are very close to the toilet, so they can only be called comfortable. During the entire flight, passengers are constantly moving here and you can’t even dream of comfort. And foreign odors will add “spiciness” to the flight.

The best seats in the Boeing 757-200 AZUR air

As noted above, AZUR air has seven Boeing 757-200 aircraft at its disposal, the best seats of which are in rows 1, 11, 12 and 31. In more detail, the most comfortable seats with the greatest legroom are located in the following rows:

  • 1 (A,B,C,D,E,F).
  • 11 (B, C, and also D, E).
  • 12 (A, F).
  • 31 (A, B, C, D, E, F).

If we highlight the best seats of the Boeing 757 from this group, they are in rows 12 and 11. As for the seats in rows 31 and 1, they are located in close proximity to the toilets.

Results

Taking into account the foregoing, we can conclude that the most comfortable chairs are those with more legroom, as well as ones that are distant from the kitchen and toilet. As an alternative, you can take seats in the central part of the cabin, which are located away from the technical areas.

The problems started at the front desk. Immediately after I was allocated a seat in the salon, I received an invitation to the business lounge.

This is, in fact, what they gave me in my hands.

And verbally - go to the Matryoshka hall. And, having gone through all the security formalities, I went straight to this lounge area, here it is:

However, a failure awaited me here. They didn’t let me into the hall under the pretext that they didn’t have an agreement with this operator, but the employee took my documents and wanted to double-check them just in case. After several phone calls, the result is the same. I accepted the situation and left the room. However, the employee said that she really needed to figure it out and continued to hang on the phone. Thus, I lost 15 minutes of my time, which I could have devoted to something more productive.

As a result, I was sent to the “Classic” hall, there were already reviews from it, so I won’t bother you with duplicating photos.

After the hall, I went to exit No. 3, where a bus was already waiting for us; there is no separate bus for business class passengers.

And here is the plane itself. As I understand it, this is an idle Turkish-Egyptian charter, which is currently being operated in another direction. The plane is quite old, but, to its credit, everything in flight was without any comments, quiet and comfortable.

This time, I broadcast the entire takeoff process, until my Internet ran out, in the OK-live application. Few of those watching believed that this was really a “live broadcast”. I feel that very soon I will forget about the periscope and will use exclusively the service from Odnoklassniki.

The chairs are rickety and narrow, but there were no problems with the backrest angle. It’s not a breeze to sleep in them, but if you really want to, you can.

Welcome drink in a plastic cup, the orange juice on this flight was absolutely terrible.

The travel kit, although meager, was there. This is the first time I didn’t take it with me, it’s too terrible quality, here they surpassed even Transaero.

The entertainment is also a problem. But I was ready for such a turn and downloaded a couple of films to my tablet. The film Mobile based on the novel by Stephen King turned out to be completely delusional, and most importantly not scary at all, the only thing that struck me was that the ghouls, falling into a trance, sang the legendary vocalise of Eduard Gil, about a cowboy who returns home (the legendary Trololo). I still didn’t understand this from the original or this was a joke from the dubbing.

The dinner amazed me with its size, really huge, but at the same time it did not shine with quality, from the word “at all”. I don’t want to list them all, but every dish here was bad in its own way.

The situation was somehow corrected by dessert.

Then everyone fell asleep.

And on the approach to Khabarovsk, breakfast was served. It’s also terrible, especially the coffee.

We descend and approach for landing

I’ll be here until tomorrow, and then I’ll fly to Vladivostok.

How do you like this business class?
