19:02. Well, that's all for today. Andrey Ivanov helped you watch beach football, have a nice evening everyone!

18:59. The Euroleague is over, the Russian team is back with medals. However, the main tournament of the season is still ahead. On September 2 in Italy, in the city of Lido de Jesolo, the 2017 World Cup qualification starts in the UEFA zone. And there the Russians need to take a place in the top four. Everything else will no longer matter.

36.00. 8:7. That's all! The Russian team won this strange match and became the bronze medalist of the Euroleague!

35.50. Carrera forgives the Russian team! From a few meters he shot above the goal!

34.30. The Russians are defending themselves. Tight and low.

33.00. Three minutes left in the third period.

31.30. And another corner - after Ilyinsky’s shot. But again the draw was unsuccessful.

31.00. Makarov took a corner kick.

29.48. Goal. 8:7. And again a failure in defense: Ostrovsky saves after Carrera’s shot, but no one stops Suarez from finishing the ball into the net.

29.00. The Spaniards control the ball more, but so far to no avail - they have no dangerous moments.

27.47. GOOOOOLLLLLLL!!! 8:6. Aksyonov famously beat the defender and volleyed into the near corner!

27.00. Juanma falls and asks for a penalty - the judges offer to play.

26.00. Now Aksyonov hits - misses. Don tried it - also inaccurately, like Peremitin.

25.00. Ostrovsky shot from the free kick - very inaccurately.

24.23. GOOOOOOOOLLL!!! 7:6. Peremitin clearly dealt with Dona on the nickel.

24.00. 6:6. The third period begins.

24.00. The Russian team played amazingly in defense. Conceding five goals with eight shots on target is something you have to manage. And there seem to be no special complaints about goalkeepers.

24.00. 6:6. The second period is over.

23.12. Goal. 6:6. A penalty from ten meters is not clear for what, Llorentz is accurate.

23.00. Chuzhkov made a good shot - close to the bar.

22.00. Goal. 6:5. Well, here comes the moment - Llorenz passed it to Carrera, who calmly scored with his head at point-blank range.

20.00. The game has calmed down a little. We have almost no moments now.

18.41. Goal. 6:4. They let Chiki pass, and he headed the ball past Chuzhkov.

12.18. GOOOOLLLLLLL!!! 6:3. And now nothing can save: Aksyonov beautifully throws the Swede to Don!

17.35. A kick and the crossbar saves Spain!!!

17.30. Llorentz knocks down Ilinsky and receives a yellow card. Penalty.

17.00. Maxim Chuzhkov appeared in our goal and immediately saved after a dangerous free kick.

16.24. GOOOOLLLLLLL!!! 5:3. The teams are not calming down! Shishin powerfully hits the far corner, Dona doesn’t even jump!

16.00. Goal. 4:3. Aksyonov did not have time to cover Suarez, who shot through himself from several meters without a chance for Ostrovsky.

15.30. Nikonorov made a dangerous shot - Don drags the ball from under the crossbar!

14.32. And then GOOOOOLLLLL!!! 4:2 Makarov, from the initial kick and not without the help of a small rebound, put the ball into the bottom corner of Dona's goal!

14.30. Goal. 3:2. Corner kick, they missed Juanma, and he scored through himself.

14.00. The Russians could now have increased the gap in the score, but Don was lucky with the rebound.

13.10. Shishin received the right to a free kick from the center, shot well, but near the top corner of the goal.

12.40. Don is dragged by Aksyonov's blow, and Ostrovsky - by Llorenza.

12.10. Shishin is immediately shot down. Penalty.

12.00. 3:1. The second period begins.

12.00. The Russians looked better in the opening 12 minutes, but in the case of the third goal we were a little lucky.

12.00. 3:1. The first period is completed.

11.55. GOOOOOOLLLLLLLLL!!! 3:1. At first Shkarin almost brought it, and then from 20 meters he charged into the “nine” with no chance for Dona!

11. 00. The first corner of the match was played by the Russians - unsuccessfully. There was no impact.

10.00. Another blow from Llorenz - straight into the hands of Ostrovsky.

09.00. The Spaniards snapped back with an attack, Llorenz hit twice - missed.

08.17. And also GOOOOALLLLLL!!! 2:1. And now Peremitin scores with his head, from Shishin’s pass!

08.02. GOOOOOLLLLLLL!!! 1:1. Nikonorov heads the ball after Ostrovsky's pass!

07.00. There is no point in nodding at the judges - you need to play and score. Makarov hits right at the defender.

06.16. Goal. 0:1. The referees saw Ostrovsky playing with his hands outside the penalty area. Whether it was or not is not known. Llorenz scored clearly.

06.00. Llorentz tried to shoot, but it was very inaccurate. Shishin does a great job on defense.

05.00. Spain continues to defend and waits for the moment to counterattack. Makarov was hit in the legs - the whistle is silent.

04.00. The referees had to change the ball. Now the game will start.

03.00. In the first minutes, the Russians have more possession of the ball, but almost concede! Ostrovsky saved Russia from a certain goal.

02.00. Ostrovsky comes into play, then Don is pulled by Nikonorov's kick. Ostrovsky takes the free kick.

01.00. The first dangerous moment - Ilyinsky made a good shot, but his shot was blocked by the defenders.

00.00. 0:0. With God blessing. Go!

17:47. Everything is ready for the start of the match. Ivan Ostrovsky at our gates.

17:45. And yet there is one change in our composition: Anatoly Peremitin will play a place Vladislav Zharikova. Apparently in the second four. The national anthems of Russia and Spain are played.

17:37. Azerbaijan beat Hungary in a penalty shootout and next year will play in Division A. And the national teams of Russia and Spain appear on the sand.

17:30. As for the Russian national team, changes in the composition, most likely, should not be expected. Shishin will almost certainly return to the second four and replace the disqualified Fern there. The first link of the coaching staff has not been touched for three matches and is unlikely to start changing anything now.

17:25. Why do we love beach soccer? Hungary and Azerbaijan are right now fighting in the final for access to the elite division A. 10 seconds before the end of the match, the Hungarians were losing 3:5 and... equalized the score. Now there is overtime, and the match between Russia and Spain will start a little later.

17:20. The Spaniards have already lost a dozen matches in a row to Russia, but we can hardly talk about underestimating their opponent. Another thing is that the Russians need to tune in to themselves: this is not the final, but they still need to win.

17:15. The main scorer returned to the Spanish national team - Llorenc Gomez, recovered after surgery on the crosses. He missed the entire season, but is now gradually getting into shape. He hasn’t shown an outstanding game yet, but the task of the coaching staff is to return him to condition for the World Cup qualification, which will take place from September 2 to 11.

17:10. Dmitry Shishin, innocently sent off in the game with Portugal, will return to action today. The tournament CDC, of course, surprises and makes me laugh: the red card was officially recognized as a mistake and they even made a personal apology, but the match was still disqualified. But the player who was removed yesterday will miss the game for 3rd place Arthur Fern. The “man from Malta” did not even think of apologizing to him.

17:05. Yes, last year Russia and Spain also played in the match for third place, but this is not enough: the final was also completely identical to this one, Portugal and Ukraine played there. The Portuguese then defeated Russia on penalties in the group, this time the Russians beat them in extra time. But this did not prevent Portugal from being higher than our team.

17:00. Hello, dear football fans. The Euroleague 2016 Superfinal is coming to an end, and today the Russian team will play its final match - for third place - with the Spanish team. The Russians won two victories in the Super Final and lost once in a penalty shootout, but this result was not enough for first place in the group. And you can only get to the finals of this tournament from first place. As a result, for the second year in a row, the Russian team will fight for Euroleague bronze. Last season, by the way, our opponents were the same Spaniards, and they lost 3:6. Today's confrontation starts at 17:30, don't miss it!

The Euroleague Beach Soccer is one of the most significant tournaments in this sport. Of course, on the European continent it is perhaps the most prestigious. And since the World Championship is not being held in 2016, each of the strongest teams in the Old World will certainly try to take the Euroleague to their advantage.

Tournament regulations and record holders

The Russian team, being one of the strongest teams in the world, plays in Division A of the European League. First, all participants in the qualifying stage compete with each other for points, which later provide the opportunity to advance to the Superfinal. Eight teams that took the highest places in the standings get there. It is these teams that determine the winner, and are subsequently distributed according to the final positions.

In 2015, our “beachers”, alas, could not win this tournament. And the first place was taken by Portugal, which is not the first time crossing the path of the Russians in the fight for the title of the best team on the continent. By the way, Portugal has won the European Beach Soccer League five times. The second representative of the Iberian Peninsula, the Spanish team, has a similar record, and the Russian team has four trophies.

Record holders for the most victories in the Euroleague:

  • Portugal - 5 titles;
  • Spain - 5 titles;
  • Russia - 4 titles.

The main intrigue of the 2016 season

It should be understood that if the representatives of the Russian Federation manage to win the trophy in 2016, they will equal the number of victories with the Pyrenees. It is also worth noting that the Spanish team is not playing as well as before, so the main opponent is still the Portuguese. By the way, in 2016 our “beachers” already lost to Portugal in the European Cup.

But Russia also has its own achievements in the Euroleague. Our team has never finished lower than third in all nine seasons of the tournament. In total, the following picture can be seen in terms of the quality of the trophies obtained in the Russian team’s treasury:

  • Gold medals - 4 times;
  • Silver medals - 1 time;
  • Bronze medals - 4 times.

Euroleague in Moscow

In the 2016 Euro Beach Soccer League, the preliminary stage will consist of three stages. It’s nice that the debut weekend will take place in the capital of Russia. Moscow sports fans will be able to see the best beachgoers of the Old World from July 1 to July 3. Previously, similar competitions were held in the main city of the Russian Federation five times, and in 2011 the Euroleague Superfinal was played here. The Russian team performs almost perfectly at home. She managed to fight 15 times on her native soil and lost only twice, gaining 13 victories.

In 2016, two groups of Division A will again hold fights in Moscow. In addition, participants of Division B will compete here, who will present six confrontations to the local public. In them, teams will challenge their right to represent their home country in the elite of European beach soccer.

Rivals of the Russian national team

Our group opponents are the following teams:

  • France;
  • Switzerland;
  • Poland.

None of these squads are considered giants of world beach soccer, but Switzerland regularly performs at the highest level, and the Poles beat us in 2015, and they did it at the Moscow stage. Now the Russians will have a chance to get even with the “red-whites”.

The following teams will compete in the second quartet of Group A:

  • Belarus;
  • Greece;
  • Spain;
  • Italy.
