Cabin layout and the best seats on the Airbus A321 aircraft of Ural Airlines. A321 cabin layout Ural Airlines Airbus a321 seat location

Ural Airlines belongs to a company with experience gained over many years of work. The main activity is passenger and cargo air transportation. The aircraft fleet consists of modern and comfortable Airbus aircraft.

During 2017, Ural Airlines acquired an Airbus A321 equipped with wings with sharklet-type tips. This design allows for increased flight range and improves aerodynamic characteristics.

It is important to know that this same year marked the beginning of a project to update passenger seats for the entire fleet. The airline's passengers now travel in comfortable and modern seats.

Interior layout

The configuration of the passenger cabin of the Ural airlines Airbus A321 is the same for each aircraft. Let's look at the cabin layout in more detail to find out which seats will be the best for a pleasant trip.

Economy class

The plan of the Airbus A321 aircraft is 220 seats, one class, located in 38 rows. In one row, for the most part, there are six seats, three on each side of the aisle.

So, let's start with the 1st row, these seats are considered good. There are no neighbors in front who will definitely recline their seats in front of you, which obviously creates some inconvenience. At the same time, there is a little more space here than in other rows due to the small distance between the seats. In addition, in front, as a rule, there is more fresh air, thanks to normal air conditioning, which cannot be said about the last row.

But there are disadvantages here, there is more space because there is a partition in front, not the passengers' seats, if the flight is long, this can cause tension. Not everyone will like the location of the wall, right in front of their face. These places are not suitable for those who are afraid of enclosed spaces, as this sensation may arise. Fresher air can also be spoiled by odors coming from the galley or toilet located directly behind the partition. The same reason can create noise and rapid movement.

From the 2nd to the 9th row, the seats will be the most ordinary. They are not particularly comfortable. The seat back reclines like most. But there is an advantage for those who sit near the porthole. The view overboard will be in full view, which cannot be said about the places near the wing.

Attention! On the seats located in front of the emergency exit, the seat backs do not recline or are in a limited position.

There is an explanation for this; they are motionless for safety reasons. Since in case of an emergency, the exit must be free. Reclining chairs will be an obstacle that will require you to waste precious time to eliminate.

Such seats are located on the 10th and 25th rows; the lack of the ability to recline the backrest will force you to sit in one position for the entire flight.

The 11th row has only two seats, which is ideal for those traveling together. These are places of increased comfort. They are located after the emergency exit. Thanks to this, they have additional space, which will undoubtedly come in handy when you want to stretch your legs and sit more comfortably. In addition, the front row seats do not recline. At this point, you can safely stand if you need to go out without disturbing your neighbor.

There are also disadvantages here, one of them is that the folding tables are built into the armrests, because of this they are motionless. For safety reasons, hand luggage is not allowed to be placed on the floor. Instead of a porthole there is an emergency exit. For this reason, it may be cooler here than in other places.

For safety reasons, the following will not be placed in such places:

  • Passengers with small children;
  • Pregnant women;
  • Passengers with disabilities.
  • Old people;
  • Passengers with animals.

In the 12th row, seats A and F will also feature additional legroom due to the absence of front seats.

The 26th row has the same advantages as 11, only in this row there are not two, but three seats on each side of the aisle.

In the 37th row, seat D is the most inconvenient because it has an unfortunate location, it is too close to the toilet and the aisle.

Rows 37 and 38 are the worst places. The backs of the seats do not recline; they rest against the back wall, behind which the toilet is located. In this regard, an unpleasant smell and constant movement of people will accompany you throughout the flight.

Choosing the best seat on the Ural Airlines Airbus A321

Still, there are places that are the most comfortable and have more advantages than disadvantages. Of these I would like to note:

  • All 1st row seats;
  • In the 11th row - B, C, D, E;
  • All seats are in row 26.

Bad places: how not to make a mistake

There are places that have an unfortunate location and are not comfortable; it is better not to choose such places, these are:

  • All seats are in the 10th row;
  • In the 25th row seats: B, C, D, E;
  • In the 37th row: A, B, C, D;
  • Seats E, F in row 38.

For technical reasons, the most favorable location for the flight will be in the bow of the airliner, since here the noise from the aircraft engines is least audible.

The middle part of the aircraft cabin will be the calmest; there is not so much chatter here and turbulence is less noticeable. For those who have problems with aerophobia, the seats in the middle will be the most acceptable.

The tail section of the aircraft is considered the most uncomfortable. The salon in the rear narrows, which reduces the space and places the bathrooms close together. Despite all the shortcomings, this part of the cabin is the safest. Statistics show that most of the survivors were in the rear of the plane.

If you want to enjoy the view overboard, you should take seats A and F. But the seats near the windows are popular only during the daytime, since you won’t see anything at night. Although, during takeoff and landing, even at night you can see a beautiful picture of the burning lanterns of the glowing city. Also, these seats are chosen by those who plan to sleep the entire flight and not get up.

Aeroflot is the largest airline in Russia. It was founded in 1923 and is one of the first airlines in the world. The air fleet includes 198 aircraft, 34 of which are Airbus A321.

The Airbus A321-200 is a representative of the Airbus industrie A320 group of airlines, but is larger in size, which means it has more seats in the cabin. Designed for medium-range flights. The narrow-body twin-engine A321 has been used to transport passengers since 1994. The Airbus A321 has many variations that differ in the number of seats, flight range and other characteristics. This is the most popular airliner among the A320 family.

Airbus A321 interior diagram

Uses 3 cabin layout options for the Airbus A321, and all of them are divided into 2 classes: economic and business. They differ only in the ratio of the number of seats in these classes. All of these cabin seating options have better and worse seats. Let's look at these three modifications and determine the best places for a comfortable flight. Interior diagrams of the Airbus A321 of Aeroflot airlines:

Option 1

This configuration includes 156 seats.

Business class covers rows 1 to 7. It is located in the nose of the plane. The layout of the seats is 2-2 in a row. Seats in this class are considered the most comfortable. The chairs have the same characteristics, but the 1st and 7th rows can be distinguished as less comfortable than the others. Row 1 is located close to the kitchen and bathroom and is separated from them by a partition, this can cause inconvenience. Row 7 is the last row of business class; there is a wall behind it; noise from economy class can be heard through it.

Economy class starts from row 8 and ends at row 31.

Row 8 is considered very comfortable. There are emergency exits in front of it and this is the first row of economy class. The extra space in front and the fact that your food is served first makes these seats comfortable.

Row 18 is located in front of the bathroom. An unpleasant smell, crowding and motionless seat backs are the main disadvantages of this row.

19 row seats B, C, D, E and 20 row A, F – seats after emergency exits. There is more extra legroom.

Row 30 is located close to the toilets, from which unpleasant odors and sounds are heard. The constant movement of people also makes these places less convenient.

Row 31 is the last one. The backs of the seats do not recline, as there is a bathroom behind this row. The row has shortcomings and the 30th row.

Option 2

This configuration includes 174 seats.

Rows 1-4 belong to business class. Rows 1-4 have the same disadvantages as the first and last rows of business class option 1.

Economy class is rows 8-35.

The 8th row is located immediately behind the screen, which causes inconvenience - a feeling of enclosed space.

The 10th row is located in front of the emergency exits - the backs of the seats do not lower.

Row 11 – the row is located after the emergency exits, which guarantees additional space in the front. Places A, F are deformed and therefore uncomfortable.

Row 23 has plenty of legroom thanks to emergency exits.

Rows 34 and 35 are similar to the last rows of option 1.

Option 3

This configuration includes 180 seats.

Rows 1-10 correspond to the first ten rows of option 2.

Row 11 is located at the emergency exit. There is plenty of space in the front. Location A is deformed.

Row 22 is similar to row 18 of option 1.

Row 23 near the emergency exit. Available seats A, B, C, E, F.

Row 24, seat D. There is a lot of legroom in front of it, since there is no neighbor in front.

35 D, E, F and 36 A, B, C are the last seats in the cabin.

  • Do you want a relaxing flight with high-quality service? Choose business class.
  • Seats in premium economy class may cost more, check this on the official website or with airport employees.
  • Do you prefer to enjoy the view from the window? You should not choose seats in the middle part of the plane. The wings will limit your view.
  • Seats at emergency exits are not available to certain categories of passengers: pregnant women, passengers with children, disabled people and foreigners who do not speak Russian or English.
  • The tail section of the carrier is the noisiest due to the proximity of the engines.

When choosing places to fly, rely on your own needs. But first, familiarize yourself with the interior layout of the aircraft that will transport you. The most convenient way to get acquainted with the information is on the official website of the airline. Have a comfortable flight with the Airbus A321!

The Airbus A321 is a modification of the older model A320. The main differences were improved engines, new brakes and increased length. Thanks to the latter, the cabin can accommodate 24% more seats for passengers. The aircraft is produced in different modifications and has several possible layouts, selected taking into account the interests of the airline carrying out the transportation.

How it was created and where it is produced

In 1988, Airbus introduced the new A320 airliner. It was a continuation of the A300 series of narrow-body models and the first passenger aircraft for scheduled flights with an installed fly-by-wire control system. During development, the main focus was on the ability to choose from several seating arrangements and cost-effective assembly. For the finished product, the goal was to gain an advantage over its competitor, the Boeing 737.

Soon after the A320 entered official service, it became clear that the new aircraft was receiving the expected interest from potential buyers. Therefore, the company decided to expand the model range by creating modifications. By 1994, it produced the Airbus A321. The aircraft became the largest of the entire A320 series, could accommodate up to 220 people and could fly slightly longer distances than the basic version.

Increased attention to the new airliner was associated with its features. What was of most interest was the widespread use of digital technologies. They helped control the aircraft, provided increased comfort to passengers and raised safety to a new level. The use of composites in the aircraft has also become attractive, which has a positive impact on the technical characteristics and capabilities of the A321.

Until 2008, the assembly of airliners was carried out in France, where individual elements were brought on cargo aircraft or sea vessels. Production of the A321 was later moved to Germany. Some parts of the aircraft are created in China and the UK.

Have you flown on an A321?

YesNo

The Airbus A321 cabin can have several layouts. The most commonly used is two-class, consisting of business and economy classes. Sometimes the aircraft is equipped only in a single-class version. In such cases, the number of places increases significantly.

Each row of economy class consists of six seats, placed three on either side and separated by a narrow aisle. In business class, seats are distributed 2 on the left and on the right. Between some rows there are emergency exits and doors, of which there are eight and six on board, respectively.

The seats in economy class are installed at intervals of 75–80 cm. Their width is 45 cm. In business class, the interval is increased to 95 cm. The width of the seats also increases to 52.2 cm. Despite the slight difference, the level of comfort in the business option is much higher .

The standard version seats up to 185 passengers. 157 are in economy class, 28 are in business class. Which layout will be used depends on the carrier. Most often there are several options:

  • 170 seats, 142/28 (“Yamal”);
  • 170 seats, 142/28 (Aeroflot);
  • 183 seats, 167/16 (“Aeroflot”);
  • 186 seats, 170/16 (“Aeroflot”);
  • 197 seats, 189/8 (S7);
  • 220 seats, economy (“Ural Airlines”);
  • 210 seats, economy (Nordwind);
  • 220 seats, economy (Nordwind);
  • 220 seats, economy (Red Wings).

Other variations in layout or number of available seats are possible. The airline chooses the cabin taking into account the demand for a certain class and the popularity of the destination the airliner will fly to.

Best Economy Class Seats

With a standard 185-seat layout, the best seats on the Airbus A321 are considered to be six seats in the eighth row. An emergency exit located at the front increases the free space in front of passengers. Therefore, here you can calmly stand up without disturbing your neighbors, stretch your legs and fully relax. When serving food or drinks, flight attendants, approaching these seats, provide an even larger selection, which decreases with each row.

Several seats in the second half of the plane are considered comfortable. They are located on row 20. The best chairs will be near the window. Its advantage is that there is also a lot of free space in front of it, which is due to the lack of seats in the front.

The rest do not stand out for their comfort, and some are downright uncomfortable. In rows 18 and 19, passengers will feel uncomfortable from the proximity of the toilet - constant movement of people, queues, noise. Those who purchase tickets for rows 30 or 31 experience similar inconveniences. On the latter, you also cannot recline the seat backs, which causes even more discomfort.

When choosing seats for other layouts, you should focus on their distance from the toilet or technical rooms, as well as the presence of increased free space in front. You can view the aircraft diagram on the airline’s website or from the manager.

Best Business Class Seats

Business class consists of a standard cabin of 28 seats located in seven rows. The chairs are comfortable and have amenities. The best seats are considered to be the seats located from the 2nd to the 6th row. Passengers have a lot of free space, do not experience any discomfort and can relax peacefully.

The only exceptions in business class in terms of comfort were the seats in the 1st or 7th row. Sitting on the first one, passengers are disturbed by others walking to the toilet, as well as by the constant noise and light emanating from the stall. In the last row, inconvenience is associated with sounds coming from economy class. This often becomes a problem if the passenger wants to relax or sleep.

Wi-Fi and other amenities on board

On the Airbus A321 aircraft, passengers are provided with a number of amenities that are designed to ensure a comfortable flight and a good time. The basic version of the liner provides for the presence on board of 4 kitchens and four toilets. Business class is equipped with a wardrobe.

Passengers with children can sit in the first or eighth row - there are cradles installed there where you can place your baby. For other arrangements, suitable seating may vary. There are also six special seats allocated for flight attendants.

Other amenities vary depending on the airline operating the aircraft. Most often, each passenger has an outlet for charging electronic devices. Some people build small displays into the backs of their chairs on which you can watch movies. Wi-Fi is available on most airlines for an additional fee.

Flight performance

The A321 aircraft became slightly larger than the older A320. Its length is 44.51 m with a height of 11.76 m. The wingspan remains the same and is 34.1 m with an area of 122.6 m². The weight of the airliner without load is 48.5 tons. It can take off at 93.5 tons, and when landing it should weigh no more than 77.8 tons. The permissible payload reaches 23.4 tons.

The installed CFM56-5A/5B or IAE V2500-A5 engines produce thrust from 13,600 to 15,000 kgf. They provide the aircraft with a cruising speed of 828 km/h, while it can accelerate to 890 km/h. To take off, the airliner will need a takeoff length of 2180 m, and for landing, a run of up to 1580 m. It can rise to a height of up to 11900 m.

The fuel capacity is 30,030 liters. With a specific consumption of 18.2 g/pass-kg and an hourly expenditure of 3,200 kg, this is enough to cover a distance of up to 5,600 km, taking into account the maximum commercial load.

Airliner design

According to the Airbus aerodynamic design, both the A321 and the A320, which has become the older version, are twin-engine low-wing aircraft with a swept wing and single-fin vertical tail. Both are designed for medium-haul airlines. The A321 model turned out to be slightly longer, so it can carry more passengers. The basic layout allows for 185 seats in a two-class version or 220 seats in a one-class cabin.

When creating the aircraft, various composite materials were used. They were most used in wings with stabilizers. This solution made it possible to reduce the total weight of the aircraft, increase the permissible payload and improve technical performance.

The airliner received a reinforced wing, characterized by increased reliability. It has special endings called sharklets. They are made as winglets and are designed for improved versions of the A320. Company representatives note that sharklets increase the aerodynamics of the aircraft, reduce fuel consumption by 3.5% and minimize carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere. The absence of such winglets would lead to a reduction in flight range by 180 km or a reduction in the maximum payload by 500 kg.

The new CFM56-5A/5B or IAE V2500-A5 turbofan engines have become more powerful. The noise level from them has decreased, fuel consumption has become more economical, and emissions of harmful substances have been reduced. They are placed one on each side under the wing.

The cockpit is equipped with EFIS digital avionics, which includes six special displays on the aircraft instrument panel, where all the necessary flight information is displayed. If individual elements fail, a corresponding warning will immediately appear so that pilots can take the necessary measures in a timely manner.

The presence of the Airbus A321 black box provides information about the flight and negotiations after a disaster, should it occur. It is located inside the tail compartment and can withstand severe impacts and high temperatures, thanks to which it remains intact even if the airliner crashes.

Models and modifications

The aircraft is produced in three modifications: A321-100, A321-200, A321neo. The first is practically not used, and the second is gradually being replaced by the third. Each new version received its own improvements, which gave it a number of advantages.

The first model A321-100 was produced from 1994 with V2500 or CFM56 engines. The plane could have become a serious competitor even to the Boeing 757, but this did not happen. The reason for this was insufficiently advanced characteristics. Therefore, in 1996, a second model was introduced.

The Airbus A321-200 received an increased take-off weight and increased flight range, which was achieved by installing additional fuel tanks. The airliner became more successful than its predecessor and quickly spread to many major airlines.

In 2016, the Airbus A321neo was introduced, which became an improved version of the basic aircraft. It is equipped with new modernized PW1100G-JM or CFMI Leap-1A engines, providing thrust of 15,000 and 14,500 kgf. Fuel consumption was reduced by 15%.

According to technical information, the A321neo can fly 950 km further and carry 2 tons more load. Speed performance has also been improved. The number of available seats on the plane has increased - it can accommodate up to 240 people in a single-class configuration.

Airlines operators

The A321 is actively used by many major airlines. In total, more than 1,700 aircraft were sold over the years of production, with another 400 on the pipeline. The number of orders for the new A321neo is also gradually increasing.

The aircraft is used by the following major foreign carriers:

  • American Airlines;
  • Air Canada;
  • Atlasglobal;
  • Turkish Airlines;
  • Air France;
  • Etihad Airways;
  • Air China;
  • Air India;
  • Qatar Airways;
  • Air Astana;
  • Wizz Air.

The airliner is also part of the fleet of many European and Asian air carriers operating international flights. In Russia, the A321 is used by Aeroflot, S7, Ural Airlines and Red Wings. Several aircraft operate periodic flights from Yamal and Nordwind companies.

The A321 has been in service around the world for over 20 years. During this time, almost two thousand aircraft were produced, which were able to show their best side. Each copy is distinguished by the highest reliability, technical features and ease of operation. Passengers get the opportunity to get to the desired point quickly and comfortably.

The airbus a321 aircraft is a modified model of the world-famous A 320 aircraft. But, unlike its “big brother,” this model has more powerful engines, more advanced brakes and greater length (increased to 44.5 meters, that is, longer And 320 by 7 meters and can “take” 24% more passengers on board). It is also interesting that this aircraft was assembled not in France (Toulouse), which is familiar to the A320, but in Germany (Hamburg).

Note! The A321 aircraft is a narrow-body aircraft. It serves on medium-haul airlines.

Who is the manufacturer

The aircraft are produced by the Airbus Industry consortium (Airbus S.A.S) and its member companies, such as DASA, which developed the A321-200 model. Airbus is one of the world's largest passenger airliner companies.

Model and modification start date

There are two modifications of this aircraft: A321-100 and A321-200. The A321-100, in turn, also has two options: with V2500 engines (A321-130) and CFM56 engines (A321-110). The program to develop aircraft of this model was started back in 1989. Test flights of two models were made in 1993, all necessary documentation was completed in 1994, and deliveries to airlines began at the end of 1994 early 1995. For the first time, aircraft of this type were put on flights by the German company Lufthansa and the Italian Alitalia.

The A321-100 aircraft failed to become worthy competitors to the Boeing 757. That is why the possibility of releasing a new modification with an increased take-off weight and a longer flight range was considered. The creation of the A321-200 was first discussed back in 1994. The Airbus A321-200 was supposed to serve long European routes and routes directly connecting the US coasts.

The idea of a more advanced modification, with additional fuel tanks of 2900 liters, appealed to the airlines, and work on the aircraft began. He made his first flight in 1996.

Work is currently underway on the A321 NEO. They are equipped with new economical engines, which are now being promoted by Airbus. Fuel savings on such an aircraft will be around 16 percent (and when installing such an engine on an old aircraft of the same series 15-14%). Also, this aircraft is designed for a longer range (the indicator has been increased by 950 km) and for a greater payload (the difference with old models is 2 tons), engineers have improved the climb speed indicators, and increased the cruising speed. In addition, all A321 NEO aircraft will be equipped with the proprietary Sharklets wing. These are wingtips of the “winglet” type (curved towards the top). This wing was developed by Airbus.

Engineers say that it is capable of:

  • improve the overall aerodynamics of the aircraft;
  • reduce inductive drag (due to the disappearance of the vortex breaking off from the swept wing);
  • reduce fuel consumption over long distances by 3.5%;
  • increase payload and flight range.

It is clear that aircraft with such characteristics will become commercially promising and many world airlines will want to purchase them.

Capacity, flight range, speed, altitude

All A321 series aircraft are equipped with EFIS avionics. They allow you to monitor all indicators during the flight and track possible failures of on-board systems.

A variety of composite materials were used in the construction of aircraft (especially in the creation of wings, vertical and horizontal stabilizers).

If we talk about technical characteristics, then they are as follows (using the example of the A321-200).

Airplane seating diagram

The standard Airbus A321 is an aircraft divided into two classes with a total of 185 seats. 157 seats are in economy class in a 3-3 configuration, and 28 seats are in business class in a 2-2 configuration. The cabin width is 3.7 meters, the seats are soft and comfortable. The undoubted advantage is that the interior is equipped with good sound insulation.

On some aircraft (for example, those operating on charter lines), the standard equipment has been changed. There is no division into classes in such aircraft. The total number of places is 220.

There are also such configurations as:

  • 28 business class seats + 142 economy class seats;
  • 16 business class seats + 167 economy class seats.

Note! The plane has 6 doors and 8 emergency exits. Their location is provided on both sides of the aircraft.

Description of seats by block of rows

Let's consider the standard two-class (28-157) configuration of the A 321 aircraft with a row-by-row layout of the cabin and determine the pros and cons of all seats on the plane.

Comparative characteristics of seats on the plane

RowsBest/worst places
1-7 rowBusiness class seats are located here. But this does not mean that they are all comfortable and convenient. The best seats on the plane are located in rows 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 of business class. The worst seats in this class are in rows 1 and 7. This arrangement is due to the fact that the seats in the first row are very close to the partition separating the cabin from the toilet and the seats of the stewards of the plane, and the seats in the seventh row are as close as possible to the noisy economy class
8th row (6 seats)These are considered to be the best seats in economy class. The fact is that there is a small space here created due to the presence of an emergency exit in this part of the plane. You can get up without disturbing your neighbors and stretch your legs. These seats are also convenient because the stewards move with food and drinks from the first rows to the last. So passengers occupying these seats will have a fairly large choice
9-17 rowThe seats are standard, not bad, not good, the distance between the seats does not allow tall and large passengers to sit comfortably
18th row (6 seats)The seats are bad, located close to the economy class toilets. There's always a crowd of people here, it's very noisy
19th row (4 seats)Controversial places. On the one hand, there is enough space here, you can stretch your legs and walk without disturbing your neighbors. On the other hand, the seats are located close to the toilets, so there is constant crowding and noise
Row 20 (6 seats)The best seats in this class are located on both sides of the windows (A and F). The fact is that due to the lack of seats in front, free space is created, you can sit comfortably. These are probably the best seats in the second part of economy class
21-29 rowStandard places, not bad, but not very good either
30 rowVery uncomfortable places near the aisle, on both sides. It is close enough to the toilets located in the rear section, so noise and a constant queue of people are guaranteed
31 rows (6 seats)The worst seats are in economy class. Firstly, it is close to the toilets. Secondly, since there is a partition nearby, the backs of the seats do not recline, which creates additional discomfort

Thus, when choosing seats, you need to be guided by two factors: their proximity to toilets, kitchens, technical rooms and the presence of a partition nearby (the chairs will not recline). Large people are best seated on row 8 or 20; these are also the most comfortable seats for those traveling with children (row 19 is also suitable in this case, since the proximity of the toilets will be a plus, not a minus; you won’t have to walk with your child across the entire salon).

Note! Window seats and aisle seats have their advantages and disadvantages. It’s easier to go to the toilet from a seat near the aisle, and at the same time no one will disturb the person sitting at the window. The choice is up to the passenger: if you hope to sleep or work, choose a seat by the window; if you think that you will often go to the toilet, take a seat by the aisle.

In-flight entertainment system, power outlets, wifi

Airbus industry A321 Ural Airlines cabin layout

There are many modifications of the Airbus 321 cabin layout. The airline operates only one version with 220 seats (you can see the layout in the photo below). Let's look at the best seats on this plane to take when buying a ticket.

This carrier option does not offer business class. Only economical available. There are generally 3 seats on each side of the plane.

1 row located behind the emergency exits, which provides these seats with additional free space in front. No one will press you with the back of the chair, since there are no neighbors in front. Passenger service begins from this row. But noise may be heard from the kitchen and bathrooms, which are located in front of the passenger compartment.

10 row– the row in front of the emergency exit, like 24 A, F and 25 B, C, D, E. The disadvantage of these rows is the fixed backs of the seats, which makes a long flight quite uncomfortable.

Seats B, C, D, E row 11 are located after the emergency exit and are convenient because they have more legroom than standard seats.

12 row seats A, F They have a lot of free space in the front, due to the absence of seats A and F in the 11th row.

26 row located in the same way as 11 - after the emergency exits and has the same advantages.

Seats at emergency exits are not available to all categories of passengers. Passengers cannot fly on them:

  • with kids;
  • children, unaccompanied by adults;
  • disabled people;
  • foreigners who do not speak Russian or English.

Also, passengers flying in such seats will be read additional safety rules by air carrier employees. When flying, you cannot place things near the seats; they must be stored on the top shelf.

37 row seats A, B, C and 38 row - E, F– last seats in the passenger compartment. They are located in front of the toilets. Discomfort during the flight will be caused by an unpleasant odor, extraneous sounds and the accumulation of passengers near these places. And also, the back of the chairs is completely or partially not movable.

Best places

  • 1st row – all seats;
  • 11th row – B, C, D, E;
  • Row 26 – all seats.

Worst places

  • 10th row – all seats;
  • 24 row – A, F;
  • 25 row – B, C, D, E;
  • 37 row – A, B, C;
  • Row 38 – E, F.

The nose of an airliner is considered the most successful for flight, since here the noise from the aircraft's engines is less audible and passenger service begins from this part.

The middle part of the plane should be chosen by passengers who get motion sickness or have problems with aerophobia - there is less chatter here and less turbulence is felt.

The tail part of the airliner is considered the most inconvenient. This is caused by the narrowing of the cabin, the proximity of the bathrooms and the strong noise of the engines. But this part of the cabin is the safest. According to statistics, more passengers who were flying in that part of the plane survive plane crashes. You can also ask the air carrier employees for an encore of lunch.

The seats by the windows are seats A, F. They are chosen by those passengers who prefer to enjoy the view from the window during the flight, sleep and not get up from the chair, as this will be difficult to do - you will need to disturb two neighbors.

If you prefer to admire the beautiful views from the window during your flight, you should be aware that emergency exit seats may not have a window. And rows 11 to 19 are located above the wings of the aircraft, which limits visibility.

Aisle seats – C, D, you need to choose if you want to move around a lot during the flight. Here you can stretch your legs. But, sitting in these places, it will be difficult to take a normal nap. People passing by may touch you.

The seats in the middle are B and E. They are considered not comfortable and are taken apart last, when there are no other seats. You will have neighbors on both sides.

If you are flying as a couple, you can take an aisle and window seat in the same row. Chances are that no one will take the middle seat and you will have extra space.

When choosing seats, check out the Ural Airlines cabin layout on the airline's official website. This will help you choose places that suit your preferences. Have a successful and comfortable flight with Airbus A321 and Ural Airlines.
