We rested with my husband from September 13 to September 24, 2019. The weather was excellent, you can go without fear of rain. Regarding the hotel, I will say that before the hotel was really 5*, but now it is ruined and requires renovation. First we were moved into the second building near the pool...

Overall I liked the holiday. It took a really long time to check in - the Chinese wanted to spend extra money, but after I managed to get through to my Palma tour operator, everything was resolved wonderfully - they gave me a gorgeous room! Locals are deeply attracted to tourists...

We rested in this hotel on March 8, 2017. We are unpretentious tourists, our goal is not to look at the floor behind the bedside table, but the country, people, nature!!! So we really liked everything!!! We lived not in the main building, but in villa No. 62 in room 6217. Everything you need...

We vacationed with children in December 2018, we really liked everything, the hotel and food (you definitely won’t go hungry!), the children’s pool was heated in the evening (you can’t get the kids out), adults went to fish peeling in the evenings (absolutely free at the main entrance, there is a pool ), in general we recommend it to everyone!

Hi all. I vacationed at the Palm Hotel with my husband in April of this year. The area is gorgeous. A beautiful hotel with fish you can feed! There are two swimming pools - large and clean. The beach is across the road from the bungalow. Everything is very close and pleasant. The sea, however, is slightly cool. We've seen it warmer too. But not critical. The beach is clean, spacious and beautiful. Not many people. The rooms are cozy, there was everything you needed. The main advantage of the hotel, in my opinion, is the dinners. Be sure to take it. We have been to many places, and we have seen the Maldives and Sri Lanka, but I have never seen such abundance anywhere. This mainly concerns seafood - shrimp, squid, oysters, crabs, all kinds of fish. Everything is very tasty and in abundance. By the way, a nice surprising bonus from the hotel - free beer at dinner. And other drinks too. There is a shop next to the hotel where you can buy snacks and drinks. Everything is very inexpensive.

We are vacationing in China, in Sanya, for the third time. This time we chose the Palm Beach Hotel. We chose this hotel based on a combination of price, location of the hotel and positive reviews on various sites. We liked the hotel. The hotel area is medium in size, but quite cozy. Everything is nearby, regardless of the type of accommodation. We took a family room. We got a room on the third floor, with an excellent and spacious balcony-terrace overlooking the pool and palm trees, which suited us perfectly. The hotel has two swimming pools. One is shallow, the other is deep. The water doesn't smell like chlorine. The pool lighting was on until 21.00, and we calmly swam after 18.00, when no one was there. The hotel beach is wonderful, there were plenty of sun loungers. There is a volleyball net. I really liked the breakfasts. Nothing too original, but there was always porridge, Vietnamese soup, eggs, fruit and sandwich sets. There were also hot dishes. Always three types of fresh juices and excellent Vietnamese coffee! Service at the hotel is up to standard. Rooms are cleaned every day. The only thing for which I give the hotel an 8 rating is the absence of any bar or cafe on site. For those who do not expect VIP service and are not ready to overpay for additional services. For those who want to take a break from the bustle of the city, sunbathe, swim and just sleep on a sunbed by the sea. For those who love delicious food and are ready for interesting excursions. Off to Vietnam. In Mui Ne. And to the Swiss Hotel! I wish everyone a great holiday!

I was on vacation with my wife at the beginning of September 2014. I arrived at lunchtime and were checked in quickly. The area is very, very clean. We spent a little over a week at this hotel. We went on almost all the excursions. There are no complaints about feeding. The rooms are quite tolerable, the windows overlook the internal garden. In general, if you love excursions and do not intend to lie on the beach or near the pool for days, then this hotel is for you! I gave the service and maintenance at the hotel a 9 because there were no problems with the waiters and cleaning ladies. The hotel is on the second line, walk 5-10 minutes. You can get there on a free blue horse! The beach itself is clean and cleaned frequently. We are happy with our vacation. Thanks to all!

We paid for a room for three, but in the end it was a double room where they simply brought a folding bed. The room smelled horribly of dampness and sewage. The door and window did not close, the Internet did not work, the toilet worked every now and then. There was no table or sun loungers on the terrace. Renovations have probably never been done since the hotel opened.
The next day we asked to be moved, again asked to be close to friends, to which the Chinese woman at the reception freaked out wildly, snorted and said that the rooms were all occupied, but we saw how many people there really were... In the end we moved to another room . As soon as you walk in, you immediately feel a terrible smoky smell. And there was also a type of sofa, so it generally stank of urine, just like the decorations on the bed! We just put it all together and didn’t touch it the entire vacation.

The cleaning in our room was 3+. Every day they gave out water, changed the towels in the bathroom (which, by the way, were already very tired), washed the floors (except under the bed), and gave out almost all the things like shampoos, soap, toothbrushes... Beach towels were never changed in 10 days , and the bed linen was never changed.

The territory is large, beautiful palm trees, ficus trees, grass, bridges, a small lake. But on the very first day, when we were sitting by the pool late in the evening, we saw a rat! Not the most pleasant first impression. But then we met them often...

Pool. For some reason, the hotel advises swimming only there, and not swimming in the sea) So the hotel has 2 swimming pools, near the main building where the reception is, and near the other buildings, closer to the sea.
On the very first evening we saw how wonderful it is to clean.... they just throw bleach in there with huge ladles. There is no water purification system. There is green mud at the bottom.
In the second pool the picture is even cooler; even small fish are swimming in the children's pool! and of course there is also dirty water and a dirty green-brown bottom.

The beach is endless! Nice sand, cool sea with waves. By the way, the waves are every day, sometimes strong, sometimes a little weaker. As the guides said, swimming is strictly until 18.00, then the police will fine you. There are very few sunbeds and umbrellas. There is always a red flag hanging on the beach and a guard/lifeguard stationed there. So, if you went swimming and left your bags, the guard absolutely calmly comes up to your bag, opens it, opens it, looks at it, and calls you to the shore with a whistle if you have something valuable in your bag! He may even call a police officer to talk to you! Well, yes, midges bite on the beach.

Breakfasts. We took one meal a day.
Every day the same food. In the first days it even seemed delicious... on the 10th day I didn’t even want to look at it all.
Scrambled eggs, noodles, rice, chicken or fish (not tasty at all), rice porridge with milk, inedible sausages or bacon, a couple of types of cereal, yogurt. Vegetables include radishes, carrots, cucumbers, onions and very rarely tomatoes. Fruits include bananas, tasteless green guavas, green melons and almost normal watermelons. For taking food out, the fine is 100 euros. If you come with a large bag, you must leave it in front of the restaurant entrance or they will put it in a hotel bag and attach a clip.

In theory, Wi-Fi should be in every room, but this is not the case. Sometimes during the day you have it, in the evening it’s gone, and you have to call a repairman to fix it, but he doesn’t come very soon. The next day or every other day. We had to ask for this 4 times. By the way, all rooms have the same Wi-Fi password, so this sometimes helped out.

In general, something like this. I definitely wouldn’t return to this hotel, so I don’t recommend it to you either.

I liked the seafood restaurant DOLPHIN SEAFOOD, where a large portion of shrimp costs 39 yuan, a huge bowl of soup for 4-5 people costs 18 yuan. It is located on the first street from the sea, likeWhen you leave the hotel, go left for 5-10 minutes. We used the maps.me application to search for restaurants with good ratings and for independent walks into the city by bus. The beach is really good, you can walk in one direction or the other, the entrance to the sea is smooth, the sand is fine and clean, but as everyone writes from the midge which biting spoils the impression. Why can’t the beach be treated like they do in Dadonghai Bay? I arrived covered in blisters and they still itch unbearably. The nature at the hotel is very beautiful and there is also a huge palm grove on the embankment. This hotel is not for spoiled tourists. The guides work all day at the reception and speak Russian well. Dinner with the guides and at the entrance to the restaurant now costs the same - 100 yuan per person. It takes 25-30 minutes to walk to the supermarket for locals. We went several times, bought cheaper alcohol, instant noodles in buckets for 4-5 yuan, their food prices are not cheap. For two weeks, in the second half of November, we vacationed in Hainan at the Palm Beach Resort & Spa 4*. The tour was purchased from the tour operator Tez Tour. The flight there and back is strictly on schedule. True, the time of arrival on the island was not very good; after going through all the formalities at the airport, we arrived at the hotel at 4 o’clock in the morning. The flight from Samara was 8 hours. 20 minutes. and we sat for another 8 hours waiting for check-in, and the Chinese categorically refuse to check in before the allotted time, either for money or for gifts. I don’t say this as a reproach, I know the international rules, but it’s very difficult to wait so long after a sleepless night. As a result, when we checked in, we slept until the evening, so the first day can’t be considered a day of rest. Check-in: Alenka no longer receives gifts in the form of chocolates surprise, they put a large chocolate bar in their passports and asked the guide to give them a room in a quiet building and preferably on the 2nd floor. As a result, they gave us a second floor, but in a building, across the road from the main building, overlooking the road, number 6219. At night you can hear the noise of cars. We went to ask the guide to change the room, but we were told to wait another two hours or come back tomorrow. We decided to leave the exchange for another day. The next day, the guide Misha kept his promise and we were offered two rooms to choose from. In the end, we stayed in our building, room 6207, but the view from the room was onto a courtyard with ponds, and there was almost no noise from cars. And the second room offered was in a building near another road, through which you go to the sea, where the traffic is even busier. Rooms: The condition of the rooms is very mediocre, everything is old and needs renovation for a long time. Of course, the hotel does not correspond to 4* at all. The bathroom was especially impressive; the floor was tiled like a public toilet. In Thailand, 3* hotels are much better. But, we must pay tribute, the bed linen and towels are very white and clean, although sometimes there were towels with holes. Apparently all the meat was there, but for breakfast there were only bones. We thought that in China, just like in Thailand, there is no point in taking dinner at all, because... There are a great many places to eat there. But that turned out not to be the case here. We tried to eat at the Marina cafe, but we didn’t like it. Territory: Here it is, just 5+, it’s just a heavenly place, for such a territory the hotel can be forgiven for all its shortcomings. So much greenery, flowers, palm trees, just super! And what ponds with fish, bridges, waterfalls! Gorgeous swimming pool. We really, really enjoyed it. Therefore, you can definitely go to this hotel just for its beautiful grounds. One day, while walking, we entered the territory of the Ocean Sonic Resort 5* hotel. We brought tourists there twice during excursions, and we liked the hotel. So we decided to take a look, but they have a much smaller area, everything is concentrated around the pool, and there are 3 large buildings nearby. As a result, we came to the conclusion that the territory of our hotel is much better. Excursions: We bought two excursions from our tour operator through hotel guides. We took a paid survey because... After all the centers, you are taken to the Peking Duck restaurant for lunch, and then you swim on a yacht for 1 hour and 10 minutes. There are no more options for boat trips, only fishing, but very expensive. We sailed past Phoenix Island, a Chinese-style yacht, very beautiful. We were satisfied. The second excursion was to Yanoda Park. We didn’t take it from the locals, because we weren’t sure that we would figure out all the labyrinths of the tropical forest there, the distances are long and you can get confused. But the locals only offer a transfer, and the difference in price was very small, we paid 350 yuan. We independently went to Nanshan, the “Deer Turned its Head” park, the “Edge of the World” park and the Linchun Ling park. Maps.me can help you navigate the area well. Guides Misha, Nastya, Diana are at the hotel every day from morning to evening. If requested, they will write the names of the stops in Chinese; when you enter the bus, you show it to the driver and he will tell you where to get off. Conclusion: We were 100% satisfied with our vacation, our expectations were worse. Apart from some shortcomings, I liked everything. A very green and clean island, beautiful sea, the weather was wonderful, it’s not for nothing that November is considered the velvet season, the humidity is low, so it was very comfortable. We went on excursions for a day, a beach holiday for a day, and from 12 to 15 o’clock. We explored the surrounding area on foot, found two more parks near the hotel, and visited them too. So, we will be happy to return to Hainan again, perhaps to the same hotel. We can confidently recommend both Hainan and the hotel for a holiday.…
