How to use the online board of departure or arrival of planes from Zvartnots airport?

Many will understand the feeling of a late person who has just burst into the airport building and notices that the flight is delayed. Of course, at first glance, this is great.

Air tickets for which large amounts of money were paid do not disappear, and the passenger makes it to the plane. At the same time, this is a huge disappointment. It is unlikely that a person will enjoy having to sit at the airport for extra hours. However, such a situation today can be easily avoided. Just look at our website and look at the data on the online aircraft departure board.

We provide data on flights of any air harbors of the Russian Federation. Finding the aircraft you need is quite easy. In addition, you can use the online arrivals and departures board completely free of charge. It’s also good that, in addition to the flight schedule, the online board displays any changes in flight schedules. Thanks to the online scoreboard, you can be sure that the information that appears will be reliable. Data is sent to us by certain departments of each airport with minimal delay. Of course, sometimes errors occur, but they are completely synchronized with the airport information. Therefore, this portal has no disadvantages and can be used at any time.

Consider Zvartnots Airport - online departure board, arrival. Current changes in departure times, flight delays, flight cancellations.

The program interface will not cause any difficulties. You can easily learn it. Just select the name of the airport from the list and view the flight schedule. The information is constantly updated in real time, so you can constantly monitor the flight you are interested in and allocate time. Some contemporaries have already been able to appreciate all the benefits of the online departure board, so it’s your turn.

Here you can get other information about your flight: name, carrier, exact time of departure and arrival (delayed, arriving, etc.). As you can see, everything is quite competent and useful. Perhaps one day there will be a function for tracking foreign air terminals, which will also find its user.

It is clear that a huge number of citizens do not view the online arrivals and departures board very often, and yet, such a service should not be forgotten.

The service will especially appeal to those who have to fly in the next few days. In this case, you will no longer need to worry and pull the airport information desk to get the necessary information, wait a long time for an answer, wasting your nerves and money. Just go to our portal, and the necessary information will be before your eyes, you just need to know how to use it, which everyone can handle.

As mentioned above, the online arrivals board has a special positive feature, which consists of a current summary of all flights at airports in the Russian Federation, with adjustments for changes at the current time. It's no secret how dynamic the flight schedule at major airports can be, and how constantly things change there. This can be influenced by many factors (of course, the most significant is weather conditions). In order for the passenger not to sit at the airport waiting for the desired flight, it is necessary to analyze current information using our website. The board will tell you the situation at the airport, so you can properly distribute your precious time.

Don’t worry about the reliability of the information, because, as mentioned above, it comes to us directly from each airport (unless airport employees make mistakes, which rarely happens).

Let using airline services be easier and more convenient for you!

Construction of Zvartnots Airport began in 1959. The project was developed by a group of architects: A. Tarkhanyan, S. Khachikyan, L. Cherkezyan, Zh. Shekhlyan and designer S. Bagdasaryan. The airport opened in 1961, but the architects’ plan was finally realized only in 1980, when the “white” terminal was put into operation. This is a very unusual project from an architectural point of view. The terminal, located in a circle, was surrounded by a two-tier automobile overpass, and a control tower rose in the center of the structure. The airport is located 12 km away. west of Yerevan at an altitude of 865 meters above sea level and occupies an area of 52,000 square meters. m.

In 1998, a cargo terminal was completed and put into operation, which made it possible to increase the airport's cargo turnover to 100 thousand tons.
On December 18, 2001, the Armenian government signed an agreement with the Argentine company Corporación America on the management of Zvartnots airport for a period of 30 years (starting from June 9, 2002). The investment plan included the creation of a new international terminal and bringing the airport up to international standards. Construction of the terminal began in 2004, and in the summer of 2007 the new terminal was opened and received its first passengers...

A surge in passenger traffic in the early 2000s created the need to expand redevelopment plans. In October 2008, construction began on the new terminal of Zvartnots Airport in accordance with international standards. On September 16, 2011, the opening of the new airport complex took place. Its first visitors were passengers arriving on the Moscow-Yerevan flight from Domodedovo airport. The class of the last terminal of Yerevan Zvartnots Airport is the highest in the South Caucasus. International security standards are ensured here, an X-ray inspection system and automatic photocopying devices are installed, as well as a modern centralized heating and air conditioning system. “The Stork’s Nest” is what the pilots called the round terminal building. Practical, multifunctional, and even with a unique architectural design, Zvartnots Airport was considered one of the best air terminals in the Soviet Union. But soon this monument may remain only on the covers of old magazines. The airport authority has raised the issue of demolishing the building. Controversy over the significance of the old building began this year when the airport concessionaire filed a petition with City Hall seeking permission to demolish...
4.

Mher Cherkezyan, the son of one of the architects of Zvartnots, considers this decision illegal, since the building is an original monument to the constructivist movement, of which not many have survived today... “This is a unique project,” he says, “the building was thought out to the smallest detail. " To preserve the architectural monument, the defenders of Zvartnots turned to the Public Council for help, proposing to include the building in the list of state-protected cultural monuments.

In turn, the management of Zvartnots Airport provides arguments proving the need to demolish the building: the number of passengers is growing and the airport must expand. They are planning to build a new complex on the site of the dilapidated building. Seismologists in Armenia are also in favor of demolishing the old airport building. Over the years of inactivity, the structure has become unusable, and any earthquake could be critical for it. If the authorities do not approve the plan to demolish the building, the airport management is ready to abandon its operation, and then the state will bear all responsibility for the reconstruction of the old building. Today this question remains open...

After reconstruction, the Zvartnots airport runway (09/27), 3850 meters long, has an asphalt surface. Navigation equipment installed at the airfield provides a meteorological minimum corresponding to the second ICAO category for end 09 (landing is allowed with a runway visual range of at least 350 meters and a decision altitude of at least 30 meters. An aircraft applying for category II must provide automatic descent to pre-landing leveling height)

With the commissioning of the new terminal, the airport is able to double passenger traffic (up to 3.5 million passengers annually, versus 1.6 million previously).

- On May 16, 1988, in the afternoon, in normal weather conditions, this aircraft made an emergency landing outside the airfield on a site selected from the air. The landing area is 50 km east of the city of Rostov-on-Don. Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport is the international airport of Yerevan (Armenia). Located in the western part of the city in the Malatia-Sebastia area.

It is the hub and main airport of the country's national airline Air Armenia.

History of Yerevan Zvartnots Airport

The airport was created according to the design of the following architects: S. Khachikyan, A. Tarkhanyan, A. Meschyan, Zh. Shekhlyan, L. Cherkezyan, A. Tigranyan and designer S. Baghdasaryan. The facility was finally put into operation in 1980.

On December 18, 2001, the Armenian government signed an agreement with Corporacion America (Argentina) to manage the airport for thirty years from June 9, 2002. The airport is currently undergoing a complete reconstruction taking into account international requirements. It has a transit zone and is located twelve kilometers west of Yerevan. Works around the clock. Can accept any aircraft.

Zvartnots Airport charged a state fee of 10,000 drams from all departing passengers (since 2009, about $24 has been included in the price of air tickets). The central part of Yerevan can be quickly reached by public transport - minibus or bus (200 drams or 0.6 dollars). By taxi it will cost more – from 1,500 to 5,000 drams, but it’s twice as fast – 15-20 minutes.

A new cargo terminal was opened at the airport in 1998. And three years later it was leased for thirty years to Aeropuertos Argentina 2000.

In 2004, construction began on another international terminal, and it was opened in 2007. Today, the airport has duty-free shops (duty-free) in the arrivals and departure areas, restaurants, ATMs, VIP service, and bars.

On October 5, 2011, the new terminal of Yerevan Zvartnots Airport began to operate fully. Its area is 34,000 sq.m. This includes a parking lot (20,000 sq.m.), modern passenger arrival/departure halls, as well as VIP lounges. Moreover, the registration hall includes 46 registration points equipped with CUTE technology. The new terminal offers free Wi-Fi. Moreover, both greeters and passengers can use postal and banking services within the terminal. At the same time, there are stores where goods are sold at more favorable prices compared to those in the capital. Passenger turnover at the airport is 3.5 million passengers per year.

At a competition in Dubai, held on January 31, 2013 and organized by Arabian Reach, Yerevan Zvartnots Airport received the title of “Best Airport in the Baltic and CIS” in the competition entitled “Airports of Developing Countries”.

Planes from thirty world airlines fly to the airport. It serves not only domestic but also international flights. Baggage check-in, as well as passenger check-in for domestic flights, begins two hours and ends forty minutes before the expected departure. As for international flights, check-in for passengers opens only two and a half hours and ends forty minutes before departure.

To check in for a flight, the passenger must present a passport and ticket. If a passenger has purchased an electronic ticket, he will only need a passport to board and check-in.
