Jet business jet. Order a private jet from INSAT-AERO
My choice of profession was predetermined from childhood: my father was a pilot. At that time, many of my peers dreamed of aviation, and I, to the envy of everyone, could always go with my dad to the airfield or get inside the plane.
Immediately after school I entered the Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers. At that time, it was the only university in the country that trained flight engineers for TU-154. After studying, I worked by profession for five years: first as a flight engineer in the Aeroflot division in Karaganda, then I accepted an offer to work as a representative of one of the Kazakh airlines in Germany. But in 2000 my flying career ended. The earthly life began: first in the passenger transportation department at East Line, and two years later he went into business aviation, where he rose to become the manager of VIP transportation at Aviaenergo airline. And in May 2005, he opened his own business together with his colleague Dmitry Akhmedov.
How the market works
There are aviation brokers on the market who manage private aircraft. Our company is among them. Some business jet owners give us their aircraft to manage: the owner flies two or three times a month, the rest of the time the aircraft is rented out. At the client's request, we can also organize flights on business jets of airlines or our market colleagues operating aircraft.
Business jets are usually based at Moscow airports. Most of them are in Vnukovo, followed by Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Ostafyevo. But there are cases when planes are parked at European airports - in Riga or Helsinki. This is because the cost of basing abroad is cheaper. And if the owner of the plane does not fly it very often, then it is cheaper to fly from Europe than to pay for basing and maintenance at our airports.
There are currently about a hundred companies on the business aviation market. There are about fifteen major players. The rest are small firms accompanying a couple of clients. According to our statistics, 70% of clients in the market are corporations.
Since their employees mostly fly on business trips, everyone promotes their services using conventional marketing tools - Internet advertising and active sales.
Flight cost depends on the supplier, route, customer and other factors. Average check
- 30–40 thousand euros
We act as brokers and take only commission; Flight and fuel surcharges are paid separately. The profit in our business is not very high: the margin is about 4–5%. So, from each flight it turns out about 1,000–
1,500 euros. The cost of a flight depends on the supplier, route, customer and other factors. The average bill is 30–40 thousand euros. Of the total cost of the flight, the airline will spend about 30–35% on jet fuel, 17–20% on taxes at airports, 1–2% on air navigation services in the airport area and along the flight route, 15–17% on in-flight meals, 10– 12% - for crew salaries. The rest falls on the operating costs of the liner, office rent and other related expenses.
The most requested route today is Moscow - London. Next come European cities such as Geneva and Nice. Sochi is gaining popularity in Russia: perhaps this was due to the Olympics.
How to book a plane
We work only with Russian clients. There were a couple of orders from foreigners, but these are isolated cases. When a call comes from a client, we immediately clarify the route, date, time, number of passengers and luggage. We also find out your dietary preferences. Let's say, if a person prefers food from a certain restaurant, then our courier can deliver it before departure. True, this is usually done by a catering company. Additionally, the color of the interior is discussed with the client.
Then the manager begins to look for a suitable aircraft. We do not cooperate with any specific airlines, but work with everyone. The main thing is that they have the right vessel. Our employee can call, make a request by email or in a special program. All information is recorded and analyzed. We take into account the best price, the year of manufacture of the aircraft, and the reliability of the partner airline. As a result, we offer the client 5–10 options to choose from. Usually people who call us don't know what model they want. And our job is to explain this to him.
The most often asked for is the Challenger; it is the one that many people hear most about. But such a choice is not always justified. There are customers who know the brand and want it exactly. It all depends on status and finances. If the level of a minister or his deputy, then initially they will not fly on an inexpensive plane, it will be from a Challenger and higher. The Global 6000 is the most popular aircraft among the elite. Business jets based on Boeing or Airbus are rarely ordered. They are distinguished not only by the luxury of their cabin, but also by their spaciousness: if such an aircraft usually accommodates 160–170 people, then for private flights it is converted to accommodate 19 seats. Most often, such planes are flown by their owners; airlines do not purchase such aircraft.
They are reluctant to rent them out; the owner will not give it to a stranger. Therefore, connections have to be made here. One of the most popular and affordable business jets is the Cessna. Clients often fly on Hawker aircraft, but they are a little more expensive. We also fly in helicopters. But their popularity is not so great; they take up less than 5% of the total number of our flights.
The minimum time in which we can organize a flight is four hours after the customer has said: “Yes, I agree to fly.” The most crucial moment comes when the flight is confirmed, invoices are issued and paid.
From this moment, the work of preparing and operating the flight begins, most of which falls on the airline. They apply for a flight to the airport of departure and arrival, and receive permission to fly over a particular state. Our role is to communicate with the client and quickly obtain all the necessary information from him.
All personnel on board are airline employees. Previously, it was customary to send a flight manager on a flight to monitor the comfort of clients. At that time, business jets converted from Soviet aircraft were popular; there was a lot of space. In addition, the airlines were a little wild, you had to keep an eye on them. Nowadays, on small business jets, an extra person is uncomfortable. And the level of airlines has also become significantly higher.
Who flies business jets
Clients are constantly changing. Now we don't have any of the clients we had in the beginning. The reasons are different for everyone, but mostly businessmen buy an airplane and fly on their own. Or they decide that it makes no sense for them to spend money on brokers, and hire an employee to organize flights.
Recently we there was a client who showed up for the flight in a fur coat on a naked body, and during the flight broke the table on the plane
We have had different cases. At the dawn of business aviation, drunk men from the bathhouse could call at night with the request: “Let’s fly to Ust-Kamenogorsk tomorrow.” But this usually ends in nothing. Now we work at night when there is a flight at that time. You need to be in touch to control everything.
We recently had a client who showed up for a flight wearing a fur coat over his naked body, and during the flight he broke a table on the plane. I had to compensate for the damage from my own pocket and pay the airline a thousand dollars. There was a client who could order a flight from Moscow to St. Petersburg for 10–12 thousand dollars and at the same time convince us that we should under no circumstances order in-flight meals. And come to the flight with a checkered string bag containing juice and some other provisions. A couple of times we took dogs around Russia for mating.
The manager always warns in advance about the volume of the trunk. But we often hear: “There are two of us, but the salon is for ten, let’s put the remaining suitcases in it.” This is contrary to aviation rules, which the captain will not allow to be violated. Because if an emergency landing occurs, the crew must evacuate everyone within 90 seconds, and if the cabin is littered with boxes and suitcases, then during an emergency landing they can crush someone or simply get in the way.
Of course, you can’t cancel the client’s “what if it fits in.” “What if” we had recently. The client was flying from Italy. I was warned about the size of the trunk. But he showed up for the flight with boxes of groceries and was very surprised why he was not allowed into the cabin with them. I had to leave some of the contents of his suitcases behind. This is a fairly common case: choose a plane with a small luggage compartment, say that four or five people will fly, and bring half the house’s belongings with you on the flight.
How does the crisis affect
On average we have about ten clients per month. A surge in activity is observed before the New Year, on the November or May holidays. Two years ago there were more corporate mass flights. Now there are fewer and fewer of them, we have a 50/50 ratio in sales: business flights and private flights for leisure.
Recently, a European agency report contained information that sales in business aviation have recently fallen by 19%. Although our number of orders increased sharply before the New Year, despite the crisis period. Either people wanted to close ruble budgets, or we communicated with those who were not significantly affected by the crisis. Of course, we will still notice a reduction: a decline of 15 to 50% could easily happen.
We have an impressive catalog of private jets at your disposal. Each aircraft is different in size, features and on-board options. If you need to order an airplane, it is important to decide on the type of aircraft - our managers will help you with this. The callback order form is located above, enter your phone number and they will call you back as soon as possible.
The most important thing you need to tell the company’s specialists at the time of ordering is:
- Number of people preparing for the flight;
- Point of departure and point of arrival;
- Planned dates and times of departures;
- Contact details
A charter aircraft will be selected that is suitable in type and other parameters for you personally from the entire catalog of private aircraft provided in the fleet available for flights.
For individual flights, light aircraft are most often chosen, the essence of which is the speed of flight and the maximum available comfort.
Medium and super-medium aircraft are suitable for team flights. The difference between them lies in the maximum range and carrying capacity of the aircraft. To find out the type of private jet that is suitable for your particular flight, contact the manager by filling out an application on the main page indicating the most important points or simply order a call back; by phone the manager will be able to tell you what flights are currently available from your region and the availability of the required ones boards at airports.
Private jets of any type
Contact the manager and they will help you rent any type of private jet, taking into account all your wishes. When choosing the type of aircraft, there are several basic points that you need to know initially. For example, small business jets are equipped with all the necessary equipment for work on board. You will be able to conduct meetings or important negotiations during the flight. And if you are flying on a business trip with a large group of employees, think about renting a long-haul business jet. At your request, the aircraft will be equipped with isolated workplaces for each passenger, as well as a relaxation and negotiation area.
Dassault Aviation presented its large-cabin Falcon 8X and 900LX long-range business jets at the International Business Aviation Exhibition 7, which took place last week at Vnukovo-3.
But few people know that representatives of the Russian media also flew from Paris to Moscow on the latest Falcon 8X, among whom I was lucky enough to be. Well...how lucky. Just for this purpose, we specially bought one-way tickets to Paris so that on the way back we could fly from Le Bourget to Vnukovo on Falcon. At the same time, we walked around Riga and Paris and tested another type of aircraft, but more on that later.
Early in the morning we arrive at Le Bourget airport, where it takes place every two years. Less than three months have passed since we are here again.
We find the Dassault Aviation terminal, it is quite modest.
We found out that we would still fly on this beauty at the airport. Until recently, we were sure that it would be the 900LX, since the 8X had flown somewhere and was going to arrive in Moscow from another city.
We watch as the Falcon 900LX taxis, which, as the developers expect, will remain for many years the standard of reliability, versatility and fuel efficiency among aircraft with a flight range of 8,800 km.
See you in Moscow!
You can take a close-up photo of our Falcon only before landing, because... Filming on the platform of the business terminal is prohibited.
In our country, by the way, it is still prohibited everywhere - both in business and in ordinary terminals.
Here we are - three representatives :) Two Dimona Dmitry and one Mary Marina.
Bizavnews and... In this case, I am not a media outlet, but rather a blogger, because you read the story about the flight here, in a live journal, and not somewhere else.
So, Le Bourget - Vnukovo. Go!
Dimons immediately stick their cameras to the porthole, because there are so many interesting things behind it!
Yes, the same Falcons, for example.
I couldn’t google who this yellow-blakyt one belongs to using the registration number. What am I doing wrong?
Leburzhuyskaya tower.
There are three lanes in Le Bourget, let's go to the farthest one. The Cessna took off.
No, we're passing by this one.
Our 25th, we start from the middle of the takeoff, this is not a problem for the Falcons, they have a very short takeoff run.
The 8X is capable of taking off and landing on a 6,000-foot (1,829 m) runway and has a landing speed of 106 knots/197 km/h (the Falcon 7X has 104 knots).
Like the Falcon 7X, the new aircraft is capable of steep approaches of up to 6 degrees, allowing it to land at challenging airports.
Below us is the famous aerospace museum in Le Bourget, as well as the entire air show area, which will be empty for almost two years.
I suspect that we started from 25th for a reason...
They showed us all of Paris! This is worthy of a separate post, but will I do it, the question is yes... In my opinion, this is interesting only to those who have been to Paris.
We turned around over Paris and looked at Le Bourget from the other side.
Charles De Gaulle Airport. Do you see Concorde?
The 8X features a redesigned ultra-efficient wing from the Falcon 7X. The wing design has been redesigned to minimize overall aircraft drag at cruising speed and reduce weight by 600 pounds. The wing also received an optimized profile and winglets.
Meanwhile, the plane gained the required altitude and we began to peel away from the windows. Let's take a walk through the cabin of the Falcon 8X. There are three of them here.
Derived from the popular Falcon 7X, the 19-seat business jet has a 13-meter cabin lengthened by one meter and a range increased by 925 km to 11,945 km. Thus, it became the longest and longest-range business jet of the French manufacturer.
The spacious cabin of the aircraft offers many configuration options.
At the EBACE European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition in Geneva, a particularly popular cabin with a front lounge bar that can easily be transformed into a seating area for crew members on long-haul flights was particularly popular with visitors.
It would seem, why should there be any transformation? One flight attendant seat...
One thing, but not very much.
With a slight movement of the hand, the chair turns into a full-fledged bed; if you fold it and remove the partition between the second and third sections.
Thus, if we say there is a very long flight, and there is a third pilot in the crew, then there is somewhere to sleep.
And if there is no third pilot, then you can send the flight attendant into the cockpit and arrange a private disco party for 2-3 people, while the rest rest in silence behind the partition.
The kitchen area turns into a minibar.
With another slight movement, the light in the cabin is set according to the customer’s wishes, and you can choose any for different lamps.
I ordered the Russian tricolor.
Let me remind you that this happens in the morning.
The curtains have three degrees of transparency and are controlled either with a remote control or with handles.
The Falcon 8X business jet is capable of performing non-stop flights from Moscow to Los Angeles, Cape Town or Darwin or from Rio de Janeiro to Moscow, landing on short runways, and also making approaches on a steep glide path, which is usually they cannot make larger business jets.
Dining and meeting area.
The table can be expanded using a special insert.
I hope no one has had breakfast yet? Because the transition to the photo below implies drooling.
The crunch of French bread...
Serving for every taste.
There is an opinion that it was the Norwegian salmon that hid under the cheese.
French yogurts and pastries, French jams, creams and cheeses, French jamon and arugula.
I don’t know where the lemon comes from, but the caviar is definitely Baku... Very large, fatty, melted in our mouths.
So, we swallowed saliva and drank a glass of water on an empty stomach. It helps digestion.
At Falcons, all the dishes are personalized.
We move on to the third sleeping area - salon.
Which is better - 15 mm fisheye or 16-35?
It's better to sleep! But the flight, unfortunately, is too short...
Soft protective panels for polished surfaces.
The Falcon 8X's noise level is even lower than that of the 7X, the quietest aircraft on the business aviation market. This is of particular importance on flights longer than 14 hours, for which the Falcon 8X was designed.
The fourth salon is a sanitary room, I dare not call it a toilet.
I remembered a story about how one guy once sat in the toilet for the entire flight, jealous of his stewardess wife of the flying businessmen.
By the way, this toilet is better than almost any economy one...
Whoever posts a link to that story, well done.
And now a few facts.
The Falcon 8X recently received clearance for flight in strong crosswind conditions, as well as for airport operation.
The Falcon 8X is certified to use Dassault's revolutionary FalconEye combined vision system, which is the first head-up display in business aviation that combines synthesized and augmented imagery. Almost all Falcon 8X aircraft customers have signed up to use the new head-up displays equipped with the FalconEye system.
Falcon 8X operators can also select a solution package to use the Falcon Sphere II integrated electronic flight documentation system, which minimizes the amount of paper on board.
In the cockpit we will find the latest version of the proprietary integrated on-board complex Dassault EASy based on Honeywell Primus Epic avionics with SVS and EVS functions, as well as a head-up display on the glass above the left seat (HUD for the co-pilot is in the plans), the latest generation FMS and , of course, with a digital flight control system.
Another feature is the JetWave system, which provides high-speed broadband Internet access on board the aircraft, and also allows you to organize video broadcasts and video conferences from anywhere in the world via a Ka-band satellite network.
Today, Dassault offers a line of six business jets: from the twin-engine Falcon 2000S with a range of 6,204 kilometers to the Falcon 8X with an ultra-high range of 6,450 NM (11,945 km).
The 8X program was presented at the EBACE 2014 business aviation show in Geneva in May 2014, shortly after the announcement of the twin-engine Falcon 5X program. The business jet is equipped with an improved version of the Pratt and Whitney Canada PW307D engines (5% more thrust compared to the Falcon 7X PW307A).
Dassault offers more than 30 different interior layout options for the 8X, including one with an optional shower.
The aircraft is certified to fly to FL510, with cabin pressure maintained at 1,200 m above sea level at 41,000 feet.
Some details
The headrest is like a work of art...
Sherlock said: "Details are very important..."
The phone was charging very quickly, only the Internet on board could not be checked...
The first Falcon 8X ultra-long-range business jets were delivered to Russian customers after receiving certification from Russian aviation authorities in May. New deliveries of these three-engine jets with a range of 11,945 km to customers in Russia and the CIS are expected in the coming months.
It is the three-engine Falcon family of aircraft that accounts for the largest number of sales in the region over the past decade.
"Sales of the Falcon three-engine family have increased significantly in the region, particularly the ultra-long-range Falcon 7X. We expect the new 8X, which incorporates and even improves on some of the 7X's signature features, as well as increasing its range and cabin capacity, to be just as popular in the region as its predecessor,” says Gilles Gautier, vice president of sales for the Falcon family at Dassault Aviation.
Russia is also expecting great demand for Dassault's new aircraft, the twin-engine Falcon 5X with an ultra-wide fuselage section, which recently began flight tests. With a range of up to 9,630 km, the 5X offers the tallest and widest cabin on the business jet market. The flight range of this model allows you to make non-stop flights from Moscow to New York or Hong Kong. The first deliveries of this aircraft are expected in 2020.
Meanwhile, we sit down in the rainy Vnukovo, and our “brother,” whom we caught up with on the way, taxis past.
For reference
Dassault Aviation is one of the leaders in the aerospace industry, present in more than 80 countries on five continents. The company produces both the Rafale fighter jets and the Falcon line of business jets, which are sold under the Dassault Falcon brand.
The company employs more than 11,000 people. Dassault production facilities are located in France and the USA, and service centers are located throughout the world. Since the first Falcon 20 was introduced in 1963, more than 2,400 Falcon business jets have been delivered to customers.
Wow, how everything immediately fogged up!
We get off the plane and they immediately announce that filming is prohibited. I have to take pictures on my mobile while walking from the bus...
The next day the Falcons were already showing off on
“Business jets” are private aircraft that are usually used by celebrities, politicians and large entrepreneurs. Such liners differ from ordinary ones in their increased level of comfort. The salons of the most expensive models will allow their owners to not only eat delicious food and sleep well, but even take a shower during flights. And with all this, the owner of the aircraft will not be out of work schedule. After all, a prerequisite for business jets is the availability of the Internet and telephone communications.

The cheapest of the expensive business jets was the Falcon 900EX. The presence of three engines allows this airliner to take off even from short runways. This significantly expands the geography of flights, because the owner of the Falcon can use the services of small airports. Another advantage of a business jet is its efficiency. Falcon 900 consumes 50-60% less fuel than its counterparts.

The process of choosing the right business jet should be structured in the same way as the process of determining the type of aircraft, namely, adequate to the tasks - unless, of course, you intend to purchase an inexpensive toy. It is a tool proportional to your business. Purchasing a business jet is the travel needs of a company or individual, expressed in annual flight hours and main routes. It is wrong to judge only by the first indicator: in one case, 400 hours a year will justify the purchase, in another - not.
The most popular types of aircraft are aircraft from such manufacturers as Bombardier, Dassault, Cessna, Boeing, Airbus. Before choosing a specific business jet that best suits your needs, you need to consider the following points:
- analysis of routes and movements
- number of people on board;
- operating costs
- benefits of using a business jet
- preferences for interior and exterior design
Unlike a yacht, when purchasing an aircraft, the emotional component still plays to a lesser extent. And first of all - prudence, calculation and analysis.
The table shows comparative characteristics of business jets according to European operators.

Business jet classification
To long-haul include jets designed to make long, multi-hour flights over long distances.
Large ones are aircraft with a range of up to 8.5 thousand km; they have a spacious, high cabin with at least 9 seats and providing passengers with maximum comfort when flying long distances.
Medium business jets may have individual characteristics of range and comfort comparable to large aircraft, but in terms of the totality of characteristics they are always inferior to large ones, and therefore cost less.
Small business jets have on board only the essentials for a relatively comfortable, short flight (less than 3-4 hours); the height of their cabin does not allow them to stand at full height.
